LINDSAY DRUMMOND

Lindsay Drummond is an improvisation teacher, performer, director, coach, singer/songwriter, and musician. She is known as the 'Queen of Online Improv'! A self confessed 'improv evangelist', Lindsay truly believes if everyone in the world did just one improv class, the world (and maybe even the universe) would be a better place!
Lindsay teaches improv classes online and her business ImprovHub was one of the first in the world to start teaching online improv . As a pioneer of online improv Lindsay teaches games, tools, techniques and exercises especially for an online environment through her many classes, courses and workshops.
Lindsay has directed improvised musicals, theatre shows and taught workshops for Improv Hub, Improv Café, Impromafia, Improv QLD, Big Fork Theatre, Ho Hum Musical Improv and Moreton Bay Council @ events such as 4Play, Brisbane Funny Fest, Brisbane Improv Festival, Brisbane Feminist Festival and Moreton Bay Joy Connection. She currently directs Improv Hub's online house teams and consults for other theatre companies.
Lindsay performs in the Improv troupes: Musically Challenged (an online and live musical improv trio/duo), 'Flotsam & Jetsam' (a musical improv concept duo), 'Slow Burn' (an international online duo with Anna Ong- Singapore), 'The Vee Vee Goods' (an international online improv musical duo with Christine Welsh Buck- USA) and 'The Honey Spiders' (an online international improv ensemble).
Lindsay is also the creator of 'Drummond and Friend' a popular online youtube show where she improvises duo scenes with other great improvisers from all around the world. She also hosts 'Masters of Improv' on YouTube where she interviews Master Teachers and performers of Improv from all over the world.
Lindsay also co-hosts the popular improvised small business podcast 'Banterpreneurs' streaming on Apple, Spotify, Google and all good podcast streamers.

Lindsay has a Bachelor of Social Science (Behavioural Studies), a Graduate Certificate in Creative and Professional Practice and is a Master Practitioner of NLP. She has also been a professional musician for over 20 years.
Lindsay has trained in improv with some of the best improvisers in the world such as Jill Bernard, David Razowsky, Patti Stiles, Heather Uquart, Joe Bill, Carlo Richie, Liz Peters, Stephen Thornton, Andrew Eninger, John Hildreth, Jim Woods and Alex Berg.
