ARCHETYPAL PERSONALITY PROFILING - AUD $150 (1.5-2hrs)

Did you know we all have a cast of characters who dwell in our psyche? Sometimes these characters have opposing views, values, and needs which can be at odds with each other.

An archetype is a character with certain attributes that are recognised the world over. Archetypes symbolise universal themes and metaphors. Many storytellers, philosophers, and psychologists including Carl Jung have spoken about them.

For example, 'Mother' is an archetype. Although logically we all know mothers are unique and each is different to each other, there is a primal recognition of what a mother is that we all share. Wherever you go in the world you can bet that if you asked people what a mother signified, they would say 'nurturing', 'unconditional love', 'warm' and so forth. This innate 'knowing' is our connection to the Archetypal Mother.

We all have this innate knowledge of archetypal characters and in fact we are host to at least 3-4 different archetypes which make up our personality. The secret to true self acceptance is to acknowledge and work with this cast of characters within and hone their strengths, be aware of their weaknesses and facilitate a space within where all of our natural archetypes are seen, accepted, loved and are able to get along with and accommodate each other. This archetypal work also allows us to understand the cast of characters in others and fosters greater compassion and empathy.

Through a personality profiling session with Lindsay you can ascertain your 3 main archetypal characters and your secret 4th one (which is usually the one which needs attention). Through this new knowledge you will create more self acceptance and gain tools to coach yourself through times of confusion, unhappiness, restlessness, anxiety and disempowerment.
